Shaw & Shoemaker 9817. Second American edition of this instructional guide, the same year as the Boston edition, and originally printed in London in 1804. Contemporary ownership signature reads "Maria Hosmer Her Book. Hudson Sept 16th 1806." Extremely scarce in the trade.
