New York: Delmonico, 1909. 12 pp. Photograph, illus. Orig. cream wrappers, with reproduction in photogravure of Lincoln on front panel. One of 450 copies. Wrappers a bit browned, chipping to front wrapper, page with photograph a bit wrinkled, else very good. The photograph is "printed directly from the original negative made by M. B. Brady, in Washington, 1864 [actually 1861], now in the collection of the Americana, of Second Class Companion Frederick Hill Meserve." In addition to the original photograph of Lincoln, this publication includes a copy of the Gettysburg Address, a list of speakers, and the dinner menu. Frederick Hill Meserve, 1865-1962, was the first great American photograph collector, who amassed the definitive collection of Abraham Lincoln photographs during his pursuits. In 1915, Meserve published a book Lincolniana: Historical Portraits and Views which included over 100 images of Lincoln and is considered an early Americana landmark of photographic scholarship. .
