Bookseller's ticket on the front pastedown. Binding is near fine. Smith, American Travellers Abroad, O20. Olmsted "travelled through England at mid-century and examined English agriculture in detail. He writes well and would be called today a rural sociologist and an agricultural economist." A very nice copy of both parts of Olmsted's first book.
