Evans 18881. ESTC W22737. Alden, Rhode Island 978. Alden notes two states. In one (state A), title reads "for the year of Lord Christ. .." and the heading on p. [33] is "Roads." In another (state B), title reads "for the year of our Lord Christ .." and the heading on p. [33] is "A list of roads." This is State B. "General Description of America" describes each of the thirteen States, and the geography of "this great western continent, frequently denominated the New World."
