The maps are "A Map of the Seat of War in Florida, 1836"; plans of the "Battle and Massacre Ground of Major Dade and Command Dec. 28th, 1835"; and "Camp Izard on the Ouithlacoochee River Feb. 29, 1836." Potter was a former United States military officer who was wounded at Camp Izard.
