Confederate Hundred, 40. Hardee's Tactics was widely used by both sides in the Civil War. Ownership signature of L.M. Hoffman, Co. C., 2nd N.C.S.T. Jr. Reserves. On rear pastedown, Hoffman has recorded a brief diary.
