Small private blindstamp at head of title. Very good plus, almost near fine. A superior copy of a book usually seen repaired or in lamentable condition. Not in Graff; Phillips, p. 46; Streeter 4129; Heller 1:455; Bruns, Fly Fisher, volume 5, no. 3, p.32 - "Less than 25 printed for the participants;" Bruns B-180 - "Wroe, the publisher, invited Blomfield on this trip, and was probably host. Sketches of the participants are in the book, the text is in the form of a log kept by Blomfield, Rare.". This is the log Blomfield, an English artist, kept on this trip which started in Chicago on Sept. 13, 1914. He was the guest of Mr. Wroe and during the trip painted "23 studies in oil and water color besides a book full of pencil sketches." First camp was made on Tuesday the 15th on the Madison River, eight miles from Yellowstone.
