Laid in is a typed letter signed from Wilberforce Eames to J. Christian bay, dated 9 October 1923, " I appreciate very much your sending to me one of your separate on Henry Lewis. It is certainly a most interesting story, and I wonder at the skill that has brought it to the light. It seems to me that the chief value of the new edition of the book is in your introduction."
