Rogers writes "Dear Mr. Hill" apologizing from taking so long to answer his letter of July 17. "The two books you mention, Backlog Studies and Repton's Landscape Gardening I undoubtedly had a hand in (though on second thoughts I can not recall Backlog Studies and may not have touched that one.) But they have no typographical interest and any work on them was probably routine." Backlog Studies, Grolier 141, Haas 23. Landscape Gardening, Grolier 167. Haas 75. Walter Hill was a prominent Chicago bookseller and publisher of small editions. Fine.
