Not to be confused with Rose's Ross' Texas Brigade this is one of the rarest Texas Confederate books and has appeared on the market only a few times in the last several decades. The Civil War chapters contain a biographical sketch of McCulloch's aide-de-camp, John Henry Brown, and a wealth of detail including correspondence, military reports, and the like.
