Orig. calf-backed marbled boards, rebacked in period style leather with gilt-lettered red morocco spine label. Boards lightly rubbed, some edgewear, scattered light foxing and toning, else a very good copy. Bullock wrote one of the first accounts in English of travels in Mexico. He wrote an interesting, accurate account of his travels, describing towns, markets, manufacturing, and antiquities, as well as visits to the Botanic Gardens, domestic animals, and hummingbirds.
