BAL 3440 suggests the American edition preceded the English edition by one day; however, Brussel, p. 5, indicates that the English editon was published two days prior to the first American edition. All later English editions lack the amusing pictorial binding in which lions are seen chasing after Tom. Spine a little darkened, else a very good copy.
