Hunt had argued that Pelatiah Webster did not deserve credit for inspiring the creation of the Constitution, despite James Madison's accolades of Webster. Taylor sets the record straight. Webster's article from which Madison drew inspiration is printed in this offering. Taylor calls it "the first draft of the existing Constitution of the United States."
