Orig. gilt-lettered 1/2 morocco and cloth, some minor spotting to front cover, else a very good copy. HOWES G-280. Presentation inscription on front free endpaper: "To Mrs. L. R. Goodis by the Author, 1916." Howes notes that this was printed in a small edition. One of the rarest Confederate regimentals. Graber was wounded and captured at Shiloh, taken to Camp Chase, and then to Fort Delaware. He was paroled and rejoined his command in time for the middle Tennessee campaign.
