Overall internally bright and clean. Contemporary ownership signature and later pencil note on front free endpaper. Additional contemporary ownership signature on rear free endpaper. Very good. SABIN 72340 (note). SPEAR, p.318. A later Rochester directory, after the first of 1827. Listed in the front are the benevolent, social and governmental institutions, and businesses, followed by an alphabetical list of inhabitants and their addresses. The map, by S. Cornell, shows the wards, public buildings, and streets. The advertisements are printed variously on plain and blue paper.
