Wolff 2774 notes the first English edition (1858) and this may well be the first American edition. Mrs. Grey had a prolific career beginning in 1839 (see Allibone and Allibone Supp.). Light dampstain at the top of the first 30 pages. A little soiling. Overall a very good, crisp copy.
