A very early St. Paul directory (the first was issued by a Goodrich & Somers the year before). Lists residents alphabetically, and includes a classified business directory. With a profusion of local advertising matter and an enthusiastic historical sketch of St. Paul, which includes some quotations from a Miss Bishop, first school teacher in the territory. Drake locates only three copies of this rare Minnesota directory (MWA,MnHi,MnS), with Minnesota Imprints adding another at New York Historical.
