BRIDGES, Robert. The Humours of the Court. A Comedy in Three Acts. Orig. printed wrappers. London: George Bell & Sons, [1893]. First edition. McKay 23. Presentation copy inscribed on the front wrapper to "J.L. Denniston from R.B.--Jan. 8, 94" and addressed in Bridges' hand on the back wrapper to Denniston at Allahabad, N.W.P. India. Bridges had also written, inside the back wrapper against "The Feast of Bacchus" in the list of his works, "I will send this in about 10 days or so." Wrappers worn and foxed, and upper right corner stained throughout, else a very good copy with cancelled stamps and a second (Allahabad) postmark.
